Hallel is a passionate activist and content creator, born in Newton, MA and raised in Israel. Her family made Aliya in 2006, and spent their first three years living at Kibbutz Ketura in the Arava desert before relocating to Jerusalem. Hallel now resides in Tel Aviv, where she continues to fight for civil and human rights both internationally and in Israel.

Her dedication to humanitarian causes was instilled in her from a young age, having been raised by activist parents. In 2013, Hallel was arrested at the Western Wall alongside her mother, an esteemed Rabbi, as part of a protest by the organization Women of the Wall. This demonstration ultimately led to a Supreme Court decision allowing women to pray at the Western Wall wearing a Tallit. During her IDF service between 2014 and 2016, Hallel worked for the Coordination of Government (COGAT) in public and digital diplomacy, launching their official social media accounts.

Hallel gained valuable experience while studying at the IDC Herzliya; interning AIPAC, managing social media for World of Jewish Students, and working on the StandWithUS digital team.

 

Hallel has an impressive portfolio of content creation for various organizations, including Magen David Adom, TIIF, Hasbara Fellows, and March For the Living. She was part of the ISRAEL-IS influencer delegation to the UAE and has been featured in the documentaries 'Unsafe Spaces' produced by JewishUnpacked and 'Finding Abraham', which won Best Short Documentary at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival among many other awards. 

 

With over a decade of experience in the field, Hallel has created and executed content for numerous major organizations. She is a leading voice online for Liberal Zionism and fights tirelessly for social causes including environmentalism, feminism, LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities. Additionally Hallel has become a face for the protest movement for Israeli democracy

Hallel is an associate at the Tel Aviv Institute and was named by The Jerusalem Post as one of their 25 Young Visionaries in 2023. She has fostered a safe and welcoming community on her social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok.
